The Kitchen Project

Before:

We started by painting the cabinet bases and then removed the doors and drawers spraying them to match.  We added updated hardware.  This gives the kitchen a light updated look.

The customer added a new light fixture and had a new laminate floor installed.  We then painted the ceiling white and the walls a bright fun color with a slightly lighter shade on the bulk heads over the cabinets.

A Beautiful Paint Job

This kitchen was painted both walls and ceilings.  The customer didn't want to change the border. The border was cut at the bottom to the floral pattern making application of the paint more challenging.
Louvered doors were sprayed with a semi-gloss latex enamel to give a smooth finish.

Nice clean edges between ceilings and walls and in this last picture the floor.  Woodwork, trim and carpeting are free of cast off and drips.
The wood trim in this archway had a piece of wood missing.  The gap was filled and molded to match the existing trim then sanded and painted.
Tight corners and odd angles are finished as beautifully as the rest of the room.

Wallpaper, Borders, Murals

The best wallpaper job starts with proper surface preparation.  Here we are removing the old paper and washing the walls to remove the paste.  This hallway was eventually painted so the walls needed to be patched and primed before painting.
These walls needed the old paper stripped and the cracks were filled then sanded smooth.  The ceiling and crown molding were painted prior to the new paper being hung.
The new paper was then applied.
This exercise room had a sunny Greek Isle mural applied to the wall, and we then painted some clouds on the ceiling to bring the sky overhead.
This kitchen had a mural added to a long stretch of wall opening the room out onto the Mediterranean.

Specialty Finishes

After removing 5 layers of wallpaper, the walls needed heavy patching.  Painted stripes and trailing ivy were added to the sunny yellow paint.
Metallic paint was added using a cut sponge effect in this hallway to add visual interest.
A recently painted bedroom had some water damage in this corner.  There wasn't any left over paint and we couldn't match the existing color so we took a color from the same family and added some bold stripes rather than repaint the whole room.
The customer was not happy with the butcher block counter in the bathroom so we applied a marbleized paint finish using the existing colors in this room.
I painted this kitchen with a warm cream color then added Belagio finish to the soffit at each work station.  The ceiling beams and trim were finished to match the cabinets.
This bedroom was repainted with a feature wall in a stria technique.  We used a slightly darker value of the color for the stria giving the stripes a soft subtle look.
These domes were in the same house.  The top was done with a metallic paint and clouds were painted in the bottom dome.
Metallic paint was used in this basement game room.
A Bellagio finish was added to this dining room and a textured ceiling medallion was applied above the chandelier.
This bedroom has a denim technique applied to the walls.
This bedroom had a ceiling medallion added, a border, and a suede paint finish.
The suede paint finish gives the walls a soft subtle texture that looks like the brushed nap of a suede jacket.
